B.A. Programme under FYUP

The College of Teacher Education offers the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Programme of North-Eastern Hill University under the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP). The programme extends over eight semesters, covering four academic years.

Students may exercise the option to exit the programme after successfully completing the sixth semester, in accordance with the rules and regulations of North-Eastern Hill University. Under the NEHU curriculum framework, the four-year undergraduate programme follows a credit-based structure comprising major, minor, multidisciplinary, ability-enhancement, skill-enhancement, value-added, vocational, internship and other prescribed courses. The complete FYUP structure is based on the University’s approved curriculum and credit framework.

The College currently offers Major courses in the following subjects:

            Economics , Education, History, Political Science, Sociology
