Five Days NISHTHA Training

The teaching faculty of the College of Teacher Education (PGT), Shillong actively participated as Key Resource Persons (KRPs) in the National Initiative for School Heads and Teachers’ Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA) training a Capacity Building Programme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The NISHTHA Programme was adopted by the MHRD Government of India for scaling up in the entire country. For operationalizing NISHTHA in the state of Meghalaya, the Key Resource Persons and State Resource Group Coordinators were drawn from the Teacher Education Institutions of the State. The College is fortunate enough to have been assigned the task of training the teachers of two C&RD Blocks viz. Mylliem C&RD Block and Mawphlang C&RD Block from 10-14 February 2020 with 130 and 119 trainees respectively.
