Notice Inviting Tender

Sealed tenders subsequently to be drawn up in M.P.W.D. F-2 form of Tender agreement duly affixed with a non refundable court fee stamp of ` 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) only are hereby invited in  2 (two) cover Bid system i.e. Technical Bid and Price Bid  separately by the undersigned, from the Registered Class-I: P.W.D. (Building), Contractors of Meghalaya State having a valid Labour License and electrical contractors license having requisite qualifications with experience of executing similar building for the under mentioned work and will be received in the office of the Principal, College of Teacher Education (PGT), Shillong upto 2.00 P.M. of 6th February 2017. The Technical Bid will be opened on the same date and hour in the presence of the intending tenderers or their authorized representatives. However, if the last date is declared as a holiday, then the next working day will be the schedule date for receiving and opening of the bid. The Price Bid of the pre-qualified tenderer(s) will be opened on a specified date in the presence of the tenderer(s) or their authorized representatives and the date for opening of Price Bid will be duly notified.

Detailed tender papers may be obtained from the office of the Principal, College of Teacher Education (PGT), Shillong from 31st January 2017 upto 2nd February 2017 on payment of a non-refundable fee of  ` 1500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred) only, per set in cash payable to the Cashier of this office during office hours on any working day, from 10:00 A.M. upto 4:00 P.M. Intending tenderers desiring to get the detailed tender papers by post shall have to send the cost of tender papers alongwith extra ` 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) only (non refundable), in the form of Demand Draft / Postal Order, duly pledged in favour of the Principal, College of Teacher Education (PGT), Shillong payable at Shillong. However, the office is not responsible for the postal delay, if any.

                                                   (ii) Renovation/ Upgradation of Existing Buildings


  1.  APPROXIMATE TENDER VALUE: – Rs. 1,40,00,000.00 (Rupees One Crore Forty Lakhs)

  1. RATES: – Rates are to be quoted on flat percentage basis i.e. AT PAR / ABOVE the Schedule of Rates for Building Works for 2015-16 as applicable in Khasi Hills District and AT PAR / ABOVE the Scheduled of Rates for Electrical Works for 2015 – 2016 as applicable in the State of Meghalaya.


  1. TIME OF COMPLETION: – 12 (Twelve) Months from the date of issue of Final Work Order.


  1. Non Tribal Contractors shall have to produce valid Trading License before purchasing Tender Forms failing which no tender papers will be issued.
